
Produce Prep Specialist (Production Associate)

Last minute catering, no problem. Our in house produce processing facility, Christine’s Cuts, we got you covered. We distribute our fresh arrivals 6 days a week to restaurants, hotels, country clubs, schools and institutions throughout Ohio, Central Pennsylvania and Northern West Virginia. Essential Functions:
- Have knife skills to prepare fruit and vegetables
- Be extremely reliable and dependable, on time and eager to work and learn
- Ability to accept and put into action changes from constructive guidance
- Maintain a mindset of constant improvement
- Be able to work well independently and as part of a team, ready to do whatever is needed
- Comply with all applicable company policies, procedures, OSHA and Food Safety regulations
Competencies, Education, and Skills:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work with others in a team environment
- Active listening skills
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Speak and write English satisfactorily
- Valid identification or driver’s license (if appropriate)
- Expert-level knife skills – Proficient in safe and efficient knife handling techniques for cutting, chopping, and preparing fresh produce
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in handling and preparing fresh produce in a professional kitchen, food production, or related environment
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday (Day Shift)
Pay Rate:
- $18.00 - $20.00/hour
Physical Demands:
- Stand or walk for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Work in cold and wet cooler environment for extended periods of time
